  • description: Starting from the modeling of a metal plate flexing following an exterior force, follows the numerical resolution of a system of partial derivative equations (Laplace equation).
    Calculate the displacement of each node of the grid simulating the plate. Parallelization: conceive, implement and compare different strategies of parallelization of the sequential algorithms of resolution.
  • requirements: There are no needed packages or special software tags to request to run this application on the EUMEDGRID e-Science Infrastructure. All necessary software is actually sent via InputSandbox.
  • notes: The application has been successful deployed on the EUMEDGRID e-Science Infrastructure. A graphic interface is also available on the infrastructure GENIUS Grid Portal.
